Take the guesswork out of setting up your own professional backstop system and get a complete kit with all of the cable, hardware and custom netting that you need your your unique facility. Choose between this complete Standard Backstop Cable System hardware kit (Pole-to-Pole) or the Suspended Cable System (Tie-Back) which provides more of an unobstructed view.

This professional inline backstop system is framed with tensioned galvanized steel cable that keeps the baseball protective netting taught with no sagging.

INCLUDED HARDWARE:

Custom netting and poles are sold separately.

Installation: If installing the hardware kit with a wall, eyebolts are recommended every 3 – 4′. Eyebolts and other wall hardware are not included. Shop our installation accessories and contact us for additional recommendations. If you have a backstop wall make sure your field is safe for athletes when they take the field by adding Douglas custom protective wall padding. Backstop padding will help protect your players from potential injury due to wall collisions behind the plate. Our padding also makes your field compliant for college softball rule 2.1.

Poles: Recommended poles size is 10.75″OD x .375″ wall thickness.

Netting: When protecting spectators from errant balls, it’s important to do it right and choose the right netting to go with your backstop system. We recommend high-impact 1-3/4″ square mesh baseball netting with a rope bound border for our cable backstop systems. Contact us with the specifications and details of your baseball backstop and a customer service will recommend the best custom netting for your backstop system.

Choose from Douglas #12 Knotted UHMPE Dyneema, #42 Knotted Ultra HDPE, Twisted Knotted Nylon or Knotless Polypropylene.
